The two things that I do during rest days are watching movies or sleep. Since I can’t blog about sleeping I will talk about movies. HAHAHA
I have a favorite movie in every genre.
Other than the plot of the movie, the other thing that captivates me while watching a movie is the lines and dialogue.
Especially when the right words are said at the right time thus giving the right emotion.
Movie dialogues for me are like poetry, an exchange of words to express feelings that should touch the audiences in different ways.
If you have watched the movie Hook(1991) based from the bedtime story about Peter Pan.
It is an old movie and I remember watching it from my childhood. for it brings back memories.
My favorite line is from the scene when Tinkerbell is saying goodbye to Peter Pan before she vanishes unto the bright light.
She said with teary eyes: “Do you know that place between sleep and awake, where you still remember dreaming?
That’s where I’ll always love you, Peter Pan. That’s where I’ll be waiting.”
I considered it a farewell message that means even if you will not return I will be here waiting for you, here in the place where dream and reality meets.
